Arrangement of the 3 Romances for violin and piano by Clara Schumann.
This opus is about the last that Clara composed and it is considered to be one of her best compositions. The Romances clearly have their own character and are definately not an imitation of her husbands style, on the contrary, it is interesting to hear them alongside Roberts own Romances op.94. These can also be played on the cello by the way (simply put the solo part one octave down). Clara's Romances are far less straightforward to adapt, hence this arrangement. Karine Georgian was the first to play and record them in this form with the arranger at the piano.
